This manual dry dust collector removes air born dust from the fabrication work area. It measures 115.35″ x 43.31″ x 96.46″. Additionally, the TEC717 a durable and sturdy stainless steel construction. It also removes 99.99% of the dust particles in the workspace of the fabricator. Hence, the air is filtered to the benefit of the workers. This is even more important now that OSHA is increasing the requirements for Silica in the stone industry. These additional requirements make it a good time to consider adding a dry dust collection system to your stone fabrication shop.
Simple to Use Design
The TEC717 Manual Dry Dust Collector features simple operation. When the motor runs, the collector draws stone dust into the system. Then, specially designed cloth filtering sleeves remove the dust particles from the air as it passes through. The air circulates back into the shop while the dust steadily gathers on the filtering sleeves. The dust collects in the catch basin at the bottom of the booth. Finally, a fabricator periodically empties the catch basin that holds the stone dust. Some fabricators choose to empty the catch basin each day. Yet, others decide that the machine needs emptied weekly.
3 Foot Extension Enclosure
This manual dry dust collector offers an enclosure that measures 3′. This extension improves the control of the air current generated by the vacuum which draws the dust into the collection booth. Additionally, vacuum efficiency increases by using the enclosure.
